The Teak core wood from the forests of Indonesia, is exceptionally durable and withstands extreme climatic conditions. Teak wood has the natural property of a non-slippery surface on wet floors and is easy to work with. This is partly why Teak is the most preferred wood for maritime applications.
Our focus in the local sawmill is to select sustainable plantation Teak Timber, Quarter Sawn & First European Quality for the high-end market. Quarter Sawn & First European Quality, better known as QS and FEQ, is the highest quality in the Teak quality range. No knots, no natural defects, no spider mites or insect holes, 100% free of defects. Extensively used for luxurious yacht building, exclusive decks and special furniture.
